NLC, MMC & KICT ink agreement for handling of electric vehicles

National Logistics Corporation (NLC) has signed a service agreement with Mega Motors Company (MMC) and Karachi International Container Terminal Limited (KICT) for handling of renowned Electric Vehicles (EVs) brand BYD at Off Dock Terminal in Karachi.

      Under the agreement, NLC will provide MMC with a range of services, including dedicated bonded storage for parking of EVs, installation of charging station, and bonded shed space for a service lift and other essential equipment. Additionally, MMC will have access to a non-bonded open storage for parking EVs. Besides bonded warehouse for the storage of spare parts and accessories. NLC will also be responsible for handling, transporting, and processing CFS import containers in compliance with the terms outlined in the agreement.

      Similarly, KICT will ensure timely delivery of containers for bonded movement, subject to stowage.
